The Complexity of Attachment in Dreams

I had a dream the other day about having therapy and 2 other people were helping the therapist.
Mom and dad were talking to them before I went back then I couldn't leave and they didn't want me too. But the therapist was supposed to help me with my attachment issues but they kissed me 4 different times
The first time I froze from shock.
Then the 2 other helpers brought me outside and we were supposed to have some kind of search for 10 coins.
When I got back inside the therapist was gone so I asked where they went and they told me they left which caused me to freak out.
So they tried to call them back. They came back but don't remember when but they changed into a guy pretending to be a girl near the end of the dream while giving me a BJ.

Dreams are complex and can reveal much about our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and experiences. In your dream, several themes and symbols stand out that can provide insight into your current state of mind and emotional landscape.

Therapy and Support: The setting of a therapy session suggests that you are engaged in a process of introspection and personal exploration. This implies a desire for healing or understanding, particularly regarding your attachment issues. The presence of two helpers extends that idea, indicating a support system or a need for assistance in addressing your emotional challenges. Your parents’ involvement may signify foundational relationships in your life and how they influence your emotional well-being.

The Therapist's Behavior: The therapist kissing you multiple times serves as a significant symbol. Kisses can represent affection, comfort, or a crossing of boundaries. Your initial freeze from shock could indicate an unexpected confrontation with your emotions or desires—perhaps a mixture of confusion, vulnerability, and an underlying yearning for connection or healing. This dynamic also highlights the complexities that can arise in therapeutic relationships, where professional boundaries may feel blurred.

Search for the Coins: The quest for ten coins may symbolize a pursuit of value or meaning. Coins often represent wealth or treasure, so this search could reflect your desire to uncover valuable insights about yourself or your emotional state. It may also signify a need to gather various aspects of your identity or experiences—each coin representing a distinct part of your journey toward healing.

Freaking Out When the Therapist Leaves: Your reaction when the therapist disappears points to feelings of abandonment or a fear of losing support while tackling your issues. This aligns with your struggle with attachment, as it highlights anxiety about relying on others or the vulnerability inherent in seeking help.

Transformation of the Therapist: The shift of the therapist into a disguised male figure near the end of the dream can symbolize the fluidity of identity and the complexity of attraction. This transformation may reflect an exploration of different aspects of your own identity or relationships. The theme of disguise could also indicate feelings of unreality or confusion within your emotional relationships.

Conclusion: Overall, this dream reflects a deep exploration of your emotional state, particularly around themes of attachment, support, and the search for personal value. It may be useful for you to reflect on your current relationships and how they influence your emotional well-being. Open dialogue about your feelings and experiences, whether through therapy or discussions with trusted individuals, may be beneficial as you navigate these complex emotions. Consider this dream a vivid invitation to continue your journey toward self-understanding and emotional clarity.
